Ingredients:
1 cup warm milk
1 package active dry yeast (2 1/4 tsp)
1/4 cup sugar
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup melted butter
1 egg
1 tsp salt
Directions:
In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until bubbly, about 5 minutes.
Stir in melted butter, egg, and salt.
Gradually add flour until a soft dough forms.
Knead the dough for 5 minutes, then cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
Roll out the dough, cut it into squares, and place on a baking sheet.
Let the dough rise again for 30 minutes.
Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes until golden.
