Ingredients:
– 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
– 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 red bell pepper, sliced
– 1 green bell pepper, sliced
– 1 onion, sliced
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup beef broth
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Cooked rice for serving
Directions:
Step 1: Season Beef and Shrimp
Combine the beef and shrimp in a bowl, then season with Cajun seasoning. Toss to coat evenly.
Step 2: Sear Beef and Shrimp
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add the beef and shrimp mixture and sear until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
Step 3: Add Vegetables
Add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
Step 4: Deglaze and Simmer
Pour in the beef broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits. Allow the mixture to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
Step 5: Finish and Serve
Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the Cajun beef and shrimp stir-fry over cooked rice.
