Ingredients:
1 lb linguine pasta
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sausage slices and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the shrimp, Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a simmer. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Add the cooked linguine, shrimp, and sausage back to the skillet. Toss everything together, coating the pasta with the creamy, spicy sauce.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot. Enjoy the bold flavors of this Cajun-inspired dish!
