Instructions:
Preheat the oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
. Grease and flour a loaf pan (9×5-inch) or line with parchment paper

Mix dry ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt

Cream butter and sugar:
In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy
.

Add eggs and vanilla:
Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract

Combine wet and dry ingredients:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk
